Sue Anderson

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska Sue is the youngest of 6 children. She has been drawing ever since she could pick up a pencil. Drawing came naturally and without thought. As a child Sue followed Disney movies closely, fascinated with the fantasy and fairy tales, her imagination was launched. Through her young life Sue was commissioned to complete works and portraits by those admiring her talents. Upon seeing the Anime feature titled “Sailor Moon” at 12 years old, Sue’s style of art changed from Disney to Anime. She taught herself the fundamentals of the anime art style by copying the Sailor Moon comics and soon had developed her own unique style of anime. From that point forward Sue began to write her own stories which she drew out into comics. One of three major stories she’s been working on has finally been made into a web-comic which she currently updates weekly.

Beyond comics Sue found her love of other mediums such as chalk pastels, oil & acrylic paint, watercolor, charcoal, ink, colored pencil, and pencil. Sue has always been drawn to the human face and its beauty, growing into a skilled photo-realistic artist. Sue loves to create fine art, portraits, and commissions but still has those Disney movies playing in her head. She hopes to one day create animated movies.
